Calipso

Cleo Fariselli
2016

Calipso is Cleo Fariselli's solo show at Clima Gallery, Milano, conceived by the artist as an "exotic night club". I wrote a soundtrack for the show, inspired by exotica pioneers Martin Denny and Arthur Lyman.

The exhibition ended with Calipso Sayonara, a live performance of the soundtrack, with instruments and sound props evoking tiki culture and exotica (xylophones, bongos, shakers), recorded, filtered, looped and layered live.
